Go-Publish-Yourself is a free resource site for those considering self-publishing. All of the content is written by publishing industry professionals and authors who've self-published. GPY was launched in 2003, and it was one of the 101 Best Sites for Writers by Writer's Digest three years in a row.

Can Go-Publish-Yourself publish my book?

No. We only provide self-publishing information and resources. We do partner with quality companies (some of which are owned by our parent company and some that are not) that provide self-publishing, printing, eBook publishing, distribution, and book marketing services. Many of these companies offer discounts to Go-Publish-Yourself members. Join now to get publishing deals!

What does it cost to join Go-Publish-Yourself?

It's FREE. Period. By being a member, you will be able to get exclusive self-publishing discounts and offers on services from our corporate partners.

Will Go-Publish-Yourself flood my inbox?

Nope. We respect your privacy. No partner company will contact you unless you specifically request that they do from within your member page. It's annoying to get a flood of unwanted solicitations and emails. That's now our thing. If you don't request any of our partner companies to contact you, you won't hear from them. We don't share your information. We will email you no more than once a month. And, those emails will just be to let you know we've added new content you may be interested in.

I'm a self-published author and would like to share my story. Where can I submit it?

Go to our contact page and in the subject line write "My Self-Publishing Story." In the body of the message, give us a link to your book's sales page on Amazon.com and to your website (if you have one). In the message you can either write the entire article / story you'd like to submit (no more than 500-750 words please) or just provide a summary. If we accept the story, we will contact you.

I'm a Publishing Industry Professional and Would Like to Submit an Article. How Do I Do That?

Go to our contact page and in the subject line write "Article Submission." In the body of the message, give us a link to your website and/or blog (if you have one or both). In the message you can either enter the actual article you'd like to submit (no more than 500-750 words, please) or give us a summary. If we accept the article, we will contact you.

I would like to advertise on your site. Who do I contact?

Go to our contact page and in the subject line write "Advertising Inquiry." We only allow advertisers who have products and services related to book writing and publishing to advertise on our site.
